MARIA CLAUDIA FARINA
Born in La Spezia (Liguria) in 1965, grew up in La Spezia and Rome. She attended the Liceo Artistico in Carrara, then she studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti - also in Carrara - painting and sculpture. 1989 Diploma and studies at the art academy in Munich as part of the Reissmueller Foundation. Projects in psychiatry (SPI Paderborn) as well as instruction in sculpture and art history in the context of public and private institutions followed. She mainly works in Italy and Germany. A grant from the Zehnthaus in Jockrim brought her to the Palatinate in 2005. Since 2003 she has been teaching sculpture at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Frosinone.
