As part of two sculpture symposiums organized by the Konz municipality (in 1999 and 2001), an international group of sculptors transformed natural stones into works of art.
Along the Upper Moselle from Konz to Palzem there are sixteen sculptures created by fifteen sculptors from Germany, France, Luxembourg, Italy and Austria.
The thirty kilometer section "Stones by the River" You can explore the Rhineland-Palatinate sculpture trail as a day trip by bike. With these sculptures, mostly made of local Udelfanger sandstone, a beautiful ensemble was created that grows together with the river landscape, the vineyards and slopes to form a unit and enriches the cultural landscape of the Upper Moselle.
