acknowledgment of paternity

Acknowledgment of paternity is possible even before the birth of a child. The registry office is responsible for receiving the recognition.

The following documents are required:

• valid ID,
• Birth certificates of father and mother.

Additionally, if the child is already born:

• a birth certificate of the child.

Acknowledgments of paternity can also be submitted to the youth welfare office, a notary or the district court.
