Planned events

In September 2023 we are planning an educational trip to Hambach Castle with Neustadt an der Weinstraße (Wednesday, September 6th, 2023).

In October 2023, the series of events will conclude with the educational trip to Frankfurt's Paulskirche (Wednesday, October 11, 2023).

Note:

The registrations are made at the VHS conc ; they are binding. (Exceptions: trips that are only for members! These cannot be booked via the VHS.)
With the exception of lectures, payment by bank transfer to the account of the Lifelong Learning and Actively Passing On Knowledge group is associated with the registration, which must be made by the specified date. If the deadline is missed, the right to participate expires.

In principle, there is no entitlement to reimbursement of the participation fee for a trip/event not taken. If you are unable to attend and cancel your registration in good time so that a substitute participant can move up if necessary, the participation fee will be refunded.

We would like to point out that participation in all events is at your own risk.

In one round of talks per quarter, the group members discuss the program, which is published every six months in the VHS program magazine.

The activities are selected from four subject areas:

• culture, politics, history
• Technology, crafts, military
• Society, Social
• health, sports, leisure

The program usually includes one event per month except for the month of August.
Interested fellow citizens of all age groups from Konz and the surrounding area are invited to the events via the local press and on posters.
Individual members make their personal life experience and contacts available on a voluntary basis for organization and implementation. They are also supported on a voluntary basis by a 4-strong organization team chosen from the group.
All events are carried out free of charge; ie: Costs incurred, for example for bus trips, will be passed on to the participants.
