Construction work due to canal relocation with temporary closure of the Saarstraße Konz during the Pentecost holidays
In June, the municipal utilities in Konz laid new sewers in Konz in the streets Im Hang and Bahnhofstrasse up to Saarstrasse. The necessary work will affect traffic on Saarstraße L137 between Konz-Filzem/Kanzem and Konzerbrück.
Due to the dimension and depth of the lines to be laid, a temporary complete closure of Saarstrasse near Bahnhofstrasse from 30 May unavoidable until 9.6. A detour via Konzerbrück and B 51 via Wawern and Kanzem has been set up and signposted.
Bicycle traffic is not affected by the closure, local traffic is guaranteed up to the construction site. In order to disrupt traffic as little as possible, the work will be carried out during the Whitsun holidays.
In a second phase from 9.6. until 30.6. half of the road will be opened again and released for traffic with traffic lights.
