Housing benefit is a social benefit under the Housing Benefit Act (WoGG) for citizens who, due to their low income, receive a subsidy for rent (rental subsidy) or for the costs of owning their own home (burden subsidy).

Applications for housing benefit and burden subsidies are available at the Konz Citizens' Office. The housing benefit office of the Trier-Saarburg district administration is responsible for processing applications. We will forward the application to the housing benefit office for you.

The district administration has set up a hotline where questions can be asked about housing benefit and housing benefit applications (entitlement to housing benefit, calculation basis, filling out the application, etc.).

• Monday to Thursday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m
• also on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
