• The person you are looking for must be able to be clearly identified based on your information. This means that you must already have data on the person concerned. This is usually the first and last name, date of birth, gender or the last known address.
• If you use the data for commercial purposes, you must provide them.
• When making the request, you must declare that you will not use the data for advertising or address trading purposes or that the data subject has consented to this.
• If you send the request to the registration authority for advertising or address trading purposes and the registration authority does not have your consent, you must declare to the registration authority that you have given your consent.
• The registration authority may require you to provide the consent of the person concerned.
• There must be no blocking of information in the population register.
