Official registration confirmation exhibition

After you have registered or de-registered with the registration office, you will receive written confirmation in the form of an official confirmation of registration.

The official confirmation of registration contains the family name, first names, doctoral degree, date of birth, date of moving in or moving out, date of registration or de-registration, address and an indication of whether it is a sole residence, main residence or secondary residence.

Upon request, one extended registration certificate are issued, which may contain data according to § 3 paragraph 1 of the Federal Registration Act, with the exception of information and transmission blocks.

A fee of EUR 6.50 is charged for the official registration certificate. A registration certificate for social purposes is free of charge; proof (e.g. official letter that requires a registration certificate from you) must be submitted!

Registration certificates are free of charge

- for pension purposes in the case of statutory pensions (registration certificates for German or foreign company pensions are subject to a fee)

- to apply for child benefit, parental benefit and student loans

The person concerned receives the official registration certificate by post from the responsible registration authority.
