Advisory board for the concerns of people with a migration background according to § 56a GemO
The task of the Advisory Board for the concerns of people with a migration background is to promote and ensure that people of different nationalities, cultures and religions living in the municipality live together on an equal footing, as well as to further develop the municipal integration process. He formulates the concerns of the migrants in Konz and represents them to the city council, the administration and the public. The Advisory Council for Migration and Integration can submit proposals on this topic to the municipal committees when it comes to municipal political decisions that affect the subject area of migration and integration.
The members of the Advisory Board for Migration and Integration determine the topics of their deliberations themselves. They elect a chairperson and their deputy from among their number. The Chairperson of the Advisory Board works closely with the administrative staff.
