“Konzer Wine Tasting 2026”: New chef & wines from young winemakers
For Friday, July 3, 2026 at 7 p.m. The town of Konz is once again hosting its popular "Konz Wine Tasting" at the Roscheider Hof open-air museum. Several young winemakers from the Konz municipality will be presenting their latest wines. In addition, a new culinary partner will be providing the evening's food and drinks.
The Kopp country inn in Hentern pampers its guests with a variety of dishes at several live cooking stations – from tender meat and fish dishes to creative vegetarian and vegan specialties. (Menu available at [website address]) www.konz.de )
The sparkling wines and still wines come from Lena Hein (Peter Hein Winery, Nittel-Köllig), Fabian Schafhausen (Schafhausen Winery, Kanzem), and Christof Schuster (Schuster Winery, Konz-Oberemmel). Vanessa and Lukas Reuter will also be presenting wines from the family-run Otmar Reuter Winery (Konz-Niedermennig).
The jazz band WINELIGHT will provide the musical accompaniment. Sometimes airy, sometimes fiery, sometimes energetic – their music is as diverse as the wines on offer.
Mayor Guido Wacht is looking forward to the event: “The Konz Wine Festival demonstrates year after year how much passion and quality is inherent in our regional wine and culinary culture. Young winemakers, dedicated restaurateurs, and a unique atmosphere make this evening a special experience for our citizens and guests.”
Despite generally rising prices, the admission price remains stable: The ticket costs €55, the same as last year. Included in the price are:
- four culinary stations
- two glasses of welcome sparkling wine
- six glasses of wine
Additional drinks are available for purchase.

Watermelon and feta salad with fresh mint, roasted pine nuts and lime vinaigrette

Baked baby potatoes: Small rosemary potatoes with sea salt and a white Burgundy mustard dip.
