Dragon “Greenling” presented at Konz-Könen daycare center

The dragon "Grünling" at the daycare center in Konz-Könen says hello! At a ceremony, artists Guido Krämer and Alexander May (represented by his parents) presented their project and officially presented the dragon's story in a picture frame to the city, the district administration, and the Katholische KiTa gGmbH Trier.

Guido Wacht, the first deputy mayor of the Konz district, thanked all those involved. The art project was created as part of the renovation and expansion of the daycare center. In a two-stage, anonymous selection process, a jury from the areas Art, architecture, politics, administration, and daycare for the "greenie." The figure in the courtyard fosters an emotional connection to the daycare center: it is already well-received by the children, played with, and incorporated into stories.
