City Center Impulses: Online survey starts

Under the motto “Greetings from Konz 2040,” visitors to the wine and spring market last Sunday were able to contribute their ideas and wishes for Konz’s city center of the future at the stand of the “City Center Impulses” model project.

"We came to the market specifically for the Downtown Impulses booth," reported one couple. The project team draws a positive conclusion, as visitors contributed to the process by submitting a total of around 120 requests. All age groups participated. In general, they expressed a desire for more "life" in the city center, but praised the good basic health and medical care.

It also became clear that Konz's city center isn't so easy to define. Where exactly is its core? What defines it today and in the future? And what priorities should be set for its future development?

The project-supporting office Stadt + Handel is now taking these questions into account in its further development and will work on them intensively in the coming weeks and months.
