Some municipalities levy an entertainment tax. This is charged on expenditures that go beyond normal living expenses – for example, for leisure and entertainment.
Taxes are levied either on participation in public events that serve entertainment purposes or on the operation of slot machines and other entertainment devices.
Each municipality sets its own entertainment tax ordinance to determine the amount of the tax and any other applicable rules. You will receive written notification of the tax amount.
