Reading competition at Konz Town Hall
The district round of the reading competition took place in the council chamber of Konz town hall earlier this week, organized by the city library. Ten school winners from the Trier-Saarburg district competed against each other, each presenting a prepared text and an unfamiliar one to the jury.
Julia Elies Große from Konz emerged as the district winner. She will now represent the district at the regional competition.

Mayor Guido Wacht congratulated all participants, praised their achievements, and presented them with book prizes and certificates. He also thanked the jury and the city library team for organizing the competition.
