Konz-Karthaus: Bridge over the railway closed

In the days following Easter (April 7-10, 2026), renovation work will take place on the pedestrian walkway at the bridge over the railway in Konz-Karthaus. Over time, differences in height have developed at the transition between the bridge structure and the paved walkway. These will now be leveled to ensure traffic safety and accessibility for pedestrians.

During the work, the bridge will be completely closed to traffic during the day; it will be open to traffic in the evenings, at night, and in the early morning. The detour will be via the surrounding local roads. Access for residents on the street "Am Bahnhof Karthaus" is permitted up to the construction site.
