Trainee project of the Konz municipal administration takes first place

"Please stand up" is the name of the internal podcast of the Konz municipal administration. The project is created with great dedication, courage, and team spirit by four trainees from the administration. And they have now been recognized for their efforts.

As part of the nationwide MoveGuide The podcast won first place in the Barmer health insurance company's competition. For the competition, trainees develop innovative health-related ideas based on a theme chosen by Barmer each year. This year's theme was: "Move On – Don't let your health suffer."

The trainees at the Konz municipal administration have launched a podcast as part of their workplace health management project. In each episode, they talk with various employees, and sometimes even the mayor, about how to motivate oneself to exercise. What tricks can I use to overcome my inner couch potato? How can I stick to a workout routine even with a busy schedule? And what should I keep in mind when starting an exercise program? These are just some of the topics covered. The internal podcast is available to all employees via the intranet and a cloud service.

Mayor Guido Wacht and the trainees are delighted with their first-place finish in the competition: "The podcast shows how vibrant, creative, and modern administration can be. I would like to sincerely thank our trainees. With their project, they have given our company a voice and also clearly demonstrated in the podcast the range of exercise opportunities we offer."

The employees of the Konz municipal administration benefit from numerous offers in the area of company health care – from company bikes to back training to advice on nutrition, healthy sleep and stress management.
