Kick-off meeting of the Democracy Alliance
The municipality of Konz stands for an open and non-discriminatory society. For over 10 years, the Partnership for Democracy in the municipality of Konz has been actively working to strengthen democratic structures and civil society networks. Within the framework of the federal program "Democracy Live!", projects are supported that strengthen democratic cohesion, promote diversity, and prevent extremism. A visible sign of this local commitment to promoting democracy is the Democracy Alliance, launched last year, which is based on broad civil society support.
On Thursday, February 19th at 5:00 PM The kick-off meeting of the Democracy Alliance of the Partnership for Democracy in the VG Konz for the year 2026 will take place in Concert-Doctor-Citizens' Hall, Wiltinger The event will take place at Str. 10-12 in Konz. Together with the many stakeholders of the broad-based civil society alliance of PfD Konz, the valuable networking work will be continued.
The agenda includes a review of the activities in 2025, an outlook on the planned activities for 2026, and a presentation of the framework for further promoting democracy in the municipalities.
The focus of the meeting is on the activities for 2026. Participants are invited to exchange ideas in interactive themed areas entitled "Idea Exchange: From Idea to Project", "Application Workshop: From Project to Successful Funding Application" and "Innovation Projects: Strengthening Social Cohesion in Local Communities".
As always, all interested citizens, volunteers, initiative groups, associations, social and economic partners are cordially invited to the meeting.
