A penguin story about courage, tolerance and solidarity

All Penguin
Excerpt from the children's theatre play by the KiTZ theatre company

In the merciless cold of Antarctica, a colony of emperor penguins is breeding – all of them with the surname Maier. Between icy winds and freezing temperatures, they are observed by the only penguin researcher for miles around: Cornelius Mütz.

The colony's peace is interrupted when an unusual visitor appears: a smaller, differently looking penguin with a red beak and stubby legs. His name: Müller.

The emperor penguins turn their backs on him; the outsider is in danger of freezing to death in the cold – until suddenly one of the arrogant Maier penguins gets into trouble himself. His egg falls into the icy sea, and only little Mr. Müller has enough courage to plunge into the waves. Now, more than ever, the Maier penguins have to learn to rethink their approach.

The play will be performed by the well-known ensemble KiTZ Theaterkumpanei from Ludwigshafen.

Tickets cost 6 euros and are available via Ticket Regional, at all known advance booking offices and, subject to availability, at the box office.
