Road renovation work in Konz-Karthaus

In Konz-Karthaus, road repairs are currently underway as part of sewer work and the implementation of the commuter cycle route. Following the work on the parallel route, work will begin on Thursday, September 18, 2025 the next construction phases - now in Albanstraße.

Initially, the area between Hubertusstraße and the access road to the elementary school will be affected: a road closure will be in place. The elementary school and kindergarten will be accessible by car from the other side—via Merzlicherstraße and Albanstraße—until Wednesday, September 24, 2025.

After that, the construction site will move further into the area between Merzlicher Straße and the access road to the elementary school. During this time, the elementary school and kindergarten will be accessible by car from the direction of Hubertusstraße. This construction phase is expected to be completed on Tuesday, September 30, 2025.

During both construction phases (from September 18 to 30), the school and kindergarten buses will stop not on Albanstraße, but on Brunostraße.
