St. Rochus Wine Fair Nittel 2025 – the largest wine festival on the Upper Moselle
This year, the St. Rochus Wine Festival Nittel invites you to an unforgettable festival full of enjoyment, music, and a cheerful atmosphere. The popular wine festival offers August 22-25, 2025 a varied program that will delight visitors of all ages.
Look forward to a varied supporting program with showmen, live music, market stalls, culinary delights, and, of course, the winemakers presenting their exquisite wines. Among the special highlights are the Proclamation of the 20th Saar-Obermosel Wine Queens on Saturday evening as well as the 18th German-Luxembourg Wine Happening on Sunday , in which a free boat passage between Nittel (DE) and Machtum (LUX). The event ship "Princesse Marie-Astrid," known for its elegant interiors, sails between 12 and 9 p.m.
Monday is all about the little ones, as in the afternoon the fairgrounds are transformed into a children's paradise. The Nittel Sports Club organizes entertainment that will ensure lots of smiles.
New this year is a Taxi stand on the B419 , operated by Taxi Saarburg. From Friday to Sunday, visitors can be comfortably driven home between 10 p.m. and 1 a.m. On Mondays, the service is from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
In addition, the wine fair continues to be well attended with the Moselle Valley Railway Accessible: Trains run hourly between Trier and Nittel. In cooperation with the SPNV-Nord association, a train service will be provided during the night from Saturday to Sunday. at 0:31 am one additional regional train with all stops towards Trier to facilitate departure.
For medical emergencies during the festival, the employees of the German Red Cross will be on hand – this time not only with a stand at the Volksbank, but also for the first time with a container to ensure even more efficient care.
