Roscheider Straße in Konz is being renovated

Roscheider Straße in Konz is showing its age, especially in the upper section; the road surface is visibly in poor condition. This is set to change. Therefore, the road below and around the roundabout at Valdenaire-Ring/Röderbusch-Ring will be renovated starting Monday, August 11, 2025.

For the work, Roscheider Straße will be completely closed in the renovation area. Traffic will be diverted via Bussardstraße, Langenbergring, and Echternachweg. The roundabout can still be used. The bus stops will also remain in operation at the current location above the roundabout until the upper construction phase begins at a later date. During the work directly at the roundabout, traffic lights will regulate traffic in the area.

The entire project, which will also include the creation of grassy strips in the center of the roadway in some sections, is expected to last until the end of the year. The full closure may be lifted earlier depending on the progress of the construction.
