Floods & heavy rain – how do I prepare?

Located on the Moselle and Saar rivers, the danger of flooding from river floods is well known within the Konz municipality. However, extreme heavy rainfall events repeatedly demonstrate that flooding affects everyone, and the damage can be devastating.

How well are you already protected? And how can you protect yourself with minimal effort? These questions are addressed in a new, handy information flyer from the Konz municipality. It contains the most important flood and heavy rain maps for each municipality or district, as well as tips for personal preparedness.

The flyer has been or will be distributed directly to households in the local communities and most districts of Konz. Residents will then find the relevant information flyer for their area in their mailboxes. Versions for Konz and Konz-Kommlingen are available at the reception desk in the main building of the town hall.
