Successful premiere for the "Konzer Weinstand on Tour"

The new "Konzer Weinstand on Tour" had its first appearance on Wednesday evening at the Saarterrassen. Many interested people attended the opening and enjoyed excellent wines as a sundowner in a beautiful summer setting directly on the Saar River.

Mayor Joachim Weber welcomed the guests and expressed his sincere gratitude to those who contributed to the wine stand's creation. The municipal building department refurbished the second-hand drinks cart, including a completely new interior. Rudolf Oeffling from Brille helped with the exterior design of the stand, featuring the city skyline. The "Autolackiererei Punessen" in Konz and "Puzzel-Werbung" in Zerf also helped ensure the wine stand's exterior looked stylish. Organizer Christoph Kramp offered tips on equipping the stand, and the Verbandsgemeindewerke Konz AöR (municipal utility company) assisted with the water and sewage connections.

Joachim Weber then symbolically handed over the stand to the Konzer Trade and Service Association. He will operate the "Konzer Wine Stand on Tour."

It is planned that it will initially be located at the Saarterrassen, but will later be deployed at other locations. Different wineries from the Konz municipality will take turns serving the wine. The next dates will always be announced via www.konz.de/weinstandontour announced.
