  • - Who is running for election?

    On September 14, the mayor of the Konz municipality and the mayor of the city of Konz will be elected: two candidates each will run.

    For the office of Mayor of the Konz municipality:

    • Guido Wacht , proposed by the CDU
    • Peter Hoff , proposed by the SPD

    For the office of Mayor of the City of Konz:

    • Guido Wacht, proposed by the CDU
    • Frank Bucher , suggested by SPD & Alliance 90/The Greens
  • - How can I cast my vote?

    Polling stations in the city of Konz and the local communities of the Verbandsgemeinde (associated municipality) will be open on this day from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Eligible voters can participate in the election with their voting notification or by presenting an official photo ID (identity card or passport). ⠀

  • - I haven't returned my postal ballot yet: what now?

    Anyone who has already applied for a postal vote but has not yet sent their documents including the ballot paper to the electoral office can orange postal ballot envelope on election Sunday, drop your ballots in the mailbox at the town hall in Konz (Am Markt 10, Konz) – please do so by 4 p.m. so that the envelopes can be brought to the relevant polling stations in time for counting.

    If a throw-in is not possible, the orange postal ballot envelope with the included documents can also be submitted to the polling station on Sunday.
