Where are the problems for pedestrians? – Show us on June 23 & 24, 2025

How can Konz's city center become more pedestrian-friendly? And where could each measure contribute to accessibility? This is what the Pedestrian Traffic Check is all about. The goal is to improve the quality of life and comfort through pedestrian-friendly and accessible paths and squares.

After citizens helped define the routes for two walkthroughs at the last workshop, the practical part of the project now begins. Join in and show the city of Konz where you see potential for improvement – at two public walkthroughs, to which everyone is cordially invited. Those interested can, for example, try on special glasses that simulate vision problems. This makes it easier to empathize with others.

The The first inspection on June 23, 2025 begins at 5 p.m. in front of the town hall (Am Markt 11). Together with interested citizens, the VG administration would like to walk through Brücken-, Grana- and Goethestraße and then across Saar-Mosel-Platz back to the town hall.

The The second inspection on June 24, 2025 begins at 7 p.m. in front of the town hall (Am Markt 11). This time the route runs through Saar- and Bahnhofstraße, over the Brienon Bridge past the cemetery and then via Wiltinger- and Schillerstraße back to the town hall.
