Verbandsgemeindewerke Konz AöR is efficient and reliable
We all need it every day: pure water of the highest quality – for drinking and cooking, brushing our teeth, showering, and cleaning. It's taken for granted that water simply flows from the tap and is then disposed of down the drain and purified. But behind this self-evident reality lies a multitude of technical and organizational processes that are becoming increasingly complex due to increasing demands at various levels.
The fact that Verbandsgemeindewerke Konz AöR (Association of Municipal Utilities Konz) has mastered these processes with flying colors is now confirmed by the so-called TSM certificate. For the award, which the Konz water supplier and wastewater disposal company recently received, experts from professional associations closely examined the processes and structures. And the AöR excelled in all aspects.

The certificate confirms that the company has qualified personnel and technical expertise, and that it operates professionally and efficiently. If, for example, a water supply line is damaged, it is clearly defined: Who is responsible? And who can be reached when and where? Such clear structures ensure quick, reliable responses and thus a high level of supply security.

"The certification demonstrates that the AöR continuously works on the quality of its services and meets high standards in all areas."

Background to the certification: "TSM" is the abbreviation for Technical Safety Management. This voluntary, practice-oriented review is carried out by independent experts from the The certificate is issued by the German Technical and Scientific Association for Gas and Water (DVGW) and the German Association for Water, Wastewater and Waste (DWA). This certificate, which not only monitors the company's workflows and equipment, but also ensures compliance with legal requirements, is valid for six years. A minor interim inspection is conducted after three years.
