Konz City Library: Reading & Reading Summer starts on June 23, 2025

1,600 new books are available in the Konz City Library for the Reading & Reading Summer 2025. Anyone who registers for the popular holiday campaign can between 23 June and 24 August 2025 Borrow exclusive current children's and young adult books and win prizes.

The Reading Summer is aimed at children and young people ages 6 to 16. For each book read, participants receive a stamp on their club card. Those who read at least three books receive a certificate and a small prize.

There's also a nationwide competition. Those who rate the books they've read have the chance to win a two-day stay for four people at Europa-Park in Rust. The more books rated, the greater the chance of winning the competition.

The Reading Summer program is aimed at preschool children who can't yet read. Those who have three books read to them and submit a self-drawn picture to the library will receive a certificate and a voucher for ice cream. There's also a chance to win other great prizes in the nationwide raffle.
