“Math boxes” for six daycare centers in the VG Konz

Children in six daycare centers in the Konz district can now playfully recognize and understand numbers and quantities with so-called "math boxes." The boxes contain large wooden dice, flags, and cards depicting numbers. They were made by the Rurtal workshops of Lebenshilfe.

The Rotary Club Saarburg procured the educational toy boxes and recently handed them over to the city of Konz and the directors of the six daycare centers in the municipality.

One of the boxes is being used in the municipal "Haus für Kinder" (Children's Home) in Konz, and another went to the municipal daycare center in Wellen. The remaining four are being used in facilities run by the Katholische KiTa gGmbH Trier.

The councilor of the city of Konz, Bernhardt Marx, thanked the Rotary Club for the great initiative.
