2025 Federal Election: Around 9,700 postal votes requested
So far, around 9,700 eligible voters in the Konz municipality have applied for postal voting for the federal election on February 23, 2025. That is almost 45 percent of all eligible voters.
By Tuesday afternoon, the election office in Konz town hall had received around 6,000 postal voting documents back. Anyone who has not yet sent their documents should do so as soon as possible. Experience from the past few weeks has shown that sending them by post can sometimes take several days. If you want to be on the safe side, you can also hand in the voting documents to the municipal administration in town hall or put them in the mailbox.
If you applied for postal voting at the beginning of February but have not received the documents yet, we recommend that you contact your local authority as soon as possible. There you can apply for a new ballot paper in person and then cast your vote directly at the town hall.
Anyone who has applied for a ballot paper but has not received any documents will not be able to cast their vote at the polling station on Sunday. The deadline for applying for a new ballot paper is Friday, February 21, 2025, at 3 p.m.
