“Tanklux expansion” in the port of Mertert
The municipality of Konz and the local municipality of Temmels have received approval documents for the "Tanklux expansion" project in Grevenmacher/Mertert. This concerns the planned expansion of the tank farm for diesel, gasoline and kerosene from 60,000 cubic meters to 90,000 cubic meters.
The participation is being carried out by the Luxembourg Ministry of the Environment, and in parallel by the Luxembourg Ministry of Transport. The public will also be informed. The documents are primarily from 2019 with minor additions from 2021, 2022, and 2025.
The documents are available to the administration in analog form, but unfortunately the risk study is only available in French.
We have scanned the "non-technical summaries" (see below). The other documents, such as the risk study, are located in the Building Authority (Max-Planck-Straße 1) They are open and can be viewed.
