"From head to body - mindfulness meets chair yoga"

For the fifth time, the "Healthy in Old Age" series is being offered to senior citizens in Konz. From February to June, a total of four events will take place – this time focusing on gut health, dementia prevention, mindfulness, and exercise.

The event series is organized by the community nurse. ^Plus The Konz Care Support Center and the Konz-Karthaus Neighborhood Management Office are organizing this event. Cooperation partners include the County's Health Promotion and Prevention Office and the Trier Dementia Center. Participation is free of charge, but prior registration is required. "From head to body - mindfulness meets chair yoga"

A beneficial offering for people who want to pay more attention to their bodies in everyday life. In an engaging presentation on mindfulness, you will learn why it is so important to pause and perceive your own body. Mindfulness helps you become calmer, think more clearly, and reconnect with yourself.

This is followed by a gentle chair yoga program that strengthens flexibility, breathing, and body awareness. All exercises are easily accessible, performed while seated or with secure support, and adapted to the individual abilities of the participants. This program imparts knowledge, promotes well-being, and supports the journey from the mind back to the body.
