Konz-Könen, sub-area “Ober der Mühle”
Development plan of the city of Konz, district of Könen, sub-area “Ober der Mühle” – Announcement of the change in the area of application and the early public participation pursuant to Section 3 Paragraph 1 of the German Federal Building Code (BauGB).
The Konz City Council, in its meeting on August 18, 2026, resolved to conduct early public participation in accordance with Section 3 Paragraph 1 of the German Federal Building Code (BauGB) for the development plan "Ober der Mühle". At the same time, the amendment to the area of application was also approved.
The Konz City Council had already resolved in its meeting on November 25, 2025, to establish the development plan "Ober der Mühle" in accordance with Section 2 Paragraph 1 of the German Federal Building Code (BauGB). The aim of the plan is to implement part of the framework plan for the Könen district. To this end, a section of the development plan "Unterdorf I" from 1982 is to be revised. The plan is intended to create the planning law prerequisites for moderate densification and orderly urban development in the planning area.
During the preparation of the draft development plan, it was determined that the future cross-section of the planned road "Ober der Mühle" could be reduced from approximately 8 meters to 7 meters. This will reduce land sealing and development costs. Accordingly, the area covered by the development plan was slightly reduced compared to the original resolution to prepare the plan.
Die frühzeitige Beteiligung der Öffentlichkeit findet in der Zeit vom
14. September 2026 bis einschließlich 16. Oktober 2026
bei der Verbandsgemeindeverwaltung Konz statt. Die Planunterlagen liegen im Foyer des Rathauses, Am Markt 11, 54329 Konz, während der allgemeinen Dienstzeiten öffentlich aus. Diese sind Mo.bis Do. 09:00 Uhr bis 12:00 Uhr und 14:00 Uhr bis 16:00 Uhras well as Fr. 08:30 Uhr bis 12:00 Uhr.

Während der Beteiligungsfrist können Stellungnahmen zum Bebauungsplanentwurf elektronisch, schriftlich oder zur Niederschrift bei der Verbandsgemeindeverwaltung Konz vorgebracht werden. Die im Rahmen der frühzeitigen Beteiligung eingehenden Stellungnahmen werden im weiteren Verfahren geprüft und bei der Erarbeitung des Bebauungsplanentwurfs berücksichtigt.
