New trees for Wasserliesch and Konz - administration plants new greenery

New trees were delivered to the building yard in Wasserliesch this week. They were carefully unloaded and the roots covered to protect them from the cold.
A total of 55 trees are to be planted in Wasserliesch and Konz in the coming weeks. You will then get a place, among other things, in the Wasserliesch industrial area, where this will only be a first tree planting campaign. More will follow.
In addition, Konz-Oberemmel will have more greenery, for example an apple tree by the fire brigade, as well as almond trees, service berries, mulberry trees and a linden tree in the Grossengarten in the area of the Altbach renaturation.
There are other planting sites in the cemeteries in the city of Konz. And two particularly beautifully flowering Judas trees are planted at Berendsborn/corner of Theodor-Heuss-Straße.
These are all climate-adapted trees that can tolerate drought and heat well.
