Konz-Könen - sub-area “Könen campsite”
Development plan of the city of Konz, district of Könen, sub-area “Campingplatz Könen” – Announcement of the publication on the internet and the public display in accordance with § 3 para. 2 BauGB.
The Konz City Council, in its meeting on August 18, 2026, resolved to make the development plan for the "Könen Campsite" available for public review. The aim of the plan is to secure the existing campsite on the Saar River under planning law and to further develop it. In its meeting on November 25, 2025, the City Council had resolved to prepare a development plan pursuant to Section 2 Paragraph 1 of the German Federal Building Code (BauGB) for the "Könen Campsite" sub-area. Early public participation took place from March 3 to April 2, 2026. The central content and objective of the development plan currently being prepared is to secure the existing campsite under planning law and to ensure urban planning regulations for the supplementary structures. The area of application has been slightly expanded compared to the original resolution to prepare the plan. The development plan includes a section of the parcel of land in the district of Könen, plot 6, parcel 874/3, in order to avoid an unplanned buffer strip between the planned road “Ober der Mühle” and the campsite.

September 14 to October 16, 2026
The meeting will take place at the Konz municipal administration. The documents are available there. in the foyer of the town hall (Am Markt 11) is open for inspection during regular office hours. These are Monday to Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Content-related questions can be directed to 06501-83-3100 The application must be submitted to the building authority.
