"Sport for everyone" - free sports program in Konz

August 15, 2023

Yoga, running, jumping or Zumba - these are just a few of the 15 free sports courses that citizens can attend in September in Konz. "Sport for everyone" is the motto from September 4th to 15th, 2023 at different outdoor locations, e.g. on the Saarterrassen, in the Maierspark or on the lawn near the Saar-Mosel-Bad.

With "Sport for everyone" it is particularly important to overcome the "inner bastard", otherwise the hurdles to participation are low: Pre-registration is not necessary except for "Jumping", the participants do not enter into any obligation and it does not matter fitness level. Just come to the appointment and participate!

All courses are supervised by trained and experienced instructors. They not only guide, but also help and convey the fun of their sport.

The courses usually last around 60 minutes and start at different times. Course schedules for both weeks can be found here:

Children are also welcome to the courses and can take part. There is also a yoga course that is aimed specifically at children from the age of 5 and a table tennis course from the age of 8.

You should bring your own mats for yoga, bodystyle, Pilates, back fitness, Qui Gong and other fitness courses. Only running, walking, zumba and jumping do not require a mat. TG Konz will be happy to answer any further questions you may have about the content of the courses, and you can also register for jumping via: info@tgkonz.de

The action under the motto "Back in the club" is a project of TG and the city of Konz and is also supported by the campaign "ReStart - Sport moves Germany" of the German Olympic Sports Confederation and the Federal Ministry of the Interior. It aims to encourage people of all ages and fitness levels to get active. Participants have the opportunity to try out new sports, improve their physical fitness and meet new people at the same time.

So - grab your sports gear and be there!
