Roscheid, Niedermennig, Obermennig: Information event on fast internet

Together with the administration, Westconnect is planning to expand a comprehensive fiber optic network for fast internet in three areas in Konz; namely Roscheid, Niedermennig and Obermennig. For this purpose, the experts from E.ON Highspeed are currently offering on-site consultation days where interested parties can find out first-hand about E.ON Highspeed's offers and products.

On November 9, 2023, interested citizens were informed in detail about the planned expansion and E.ON's offers and all questions raised in this context were answered. Joachim Weber, mayor of the city of Konz, was also there and got an idea of the advisory services on site: “I am very pleased that citizens have the opportunity to receive a fast internet connection without construction costs. This means that even more households and businesses can now secure their own fiber optic connection. Home office, video conferences as well as surfing and streaming are possible at the same time – stable and reliable.”

The best thing for customers: Private households and companies from Roscheid, Niedermennig and Obermennig should be connected to the Internet with up to 1,000 megabits per second. Those interested who take advantage of this opportunity until the end of pre-marketing by November 30, 2023 will benefit from a free fiber optic connection.

Further consultation days take place on the following dates in the Konz-Krettnach community center: Every week Thursday, 16th, 23rd. and November 30th, between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.
