Reading summer in the Konzer city library starts on July 11, 2022 - nationwide summer campaign very popular with children and young people

Register, read and win prizes - that's what the Konz City Library will say again from July 11, 2022. That's when the reading summer 2022 starts: Those who register can borrow current children's and young people's books exclusively and free of charge. For each book read there is a stamp on the club card and a rating card. And every rating card enters the nationwide sweepstakes. The main prize: a two-day stay for four people in Europapark Rust and the Rulantica water world. But of course there are also other nice prizes for participants who have read at least three books.
The Reading Summer of Rhineland-Palatinate is taking place across the state in a total of 213 municipal and church libraries this year. The campaign is always very popular in the municipality of Konz. Last summer there were around 450 registrations for the reading summer in the Konz city library and more than 4,000 books were read.
The campaign runs until September 11, 2022. Children and young people between the ages of six and 16 can register.
