In the coming week, work to secure the embankment will start below the "Schwester-Marcellina-Weg". In the past, debris had slid off the embankment there. In order to prevent this in the future, a wire mesh net will be installed below the footpath.
First of all, there will be no restrictions during the works, From July 19, 2022, however, depending on the progress of work, part of the "Schwester-Marcellina-Weg" must be closed alternately . Coming from the Brienon Bridge, this first affects the section in the direction of the St. Nikolaus primary school, then the section in the direction of the St. Nikolaus Catholic day-care center. The Brienon Bridge itself is not affected by the closure and access to the cemetery is open at all times. The work is expected to take three to four weeks in total.
