Free street theatre in Konz's market square
The city of Konz invites you on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at 5 p.m. invites you to a unique street theatre experience in the market square. Visit the free Open-air program Full of artistry, comedy and quirky stories for the whole family!
It begins Carmen La Tanik with “CarmeLaster – A Woman and Her Vice”. For over 20 years, she has lived and traveled in her purple truck – simultaneously stage set, home, and performer in an autofictional circus theater. Between hula hoops with knives attached and physical comedy, Carmen La Tanik tells stories of a life with 7.5 tons and tire-bound adventures, self-determination, and the art of maintaining balance on the road.
Then it takes over Madame Buqu The truck stage. In their show "Happy Stoto" The clown housewife demonstrates in an engaging and refreshing way how it's possible to break free from conservative role models with daring, humor, and a handheld vacuum cleaner. With quick steps and a petticoat, contemporary clowning meets bold slapstick, and mundane housework gives way to a riotously funny revolution.
Two shows about stubbornness, emancipation, and the courage to take control of one's own life – wild, funny, and inspiring for all ages. Admission is free!
