Free art walks in Konz

Art is often encountered quite naturally in public spaces in Konz. But what stories lie behind these artworks? Former mayor of Konz, art expert Winfried Manns, will provide answers during two free art walks, to which the city of Konz cordially invites you.

On Thursday, October 22nd, at 5 pm as at Friday, November 6th, at 4 pm Those interested can embark on an exciting exploration of Konz. The various tours lead to selected works of art and demonstrate how art contributes to shaping the urban space. At the same time, the walks are also a journey through time, offering insights into the city's history.

The cultural impulses of artists such as Paul Magar, Georg Meistermann, Harald Pompl and many other artists have shaped and enriched the cityscape of Konz for decades. During the walks, Winfried Manns explains their backgrounds and draws attention to details that often go unnoticed in everyday life.

Registration is not required. Anyone interested can simply come along and participate. The meeting point is the market square in Konz.
