Children's holiday city council visits Konz town hall

As part of this year's children's holiday program "Wuselkusen," the newly elected children's city council visited Konz Town Hall. The young participants were welcomed by the actual mayor of Konz, Guido Wacht.

Through personal interaction, the children gained insight into the tasks and processes of local politics. Mayor Guido Wacht answered questions, explained decision-making processes, and shared insights into daily life at the town hall.

The children's city "Wuselkusen" is part of the Konz summer holiday program every two years and is organized by the youth center. For one week, the children experience how a city functions.

In a specially designed play city with workshops, shops, studios and government offices, the children take on different roles, make decisions and learn to take responsibility and solve conflicts.
