Helping together – a benefit match for Tobias Seltmann
On September 9, 2026, a charity football match will be played in Konz. The celebrity team of the Lotto-Elf will take to the pitch at the sports complex in Konz-Niedermennig at 6:30 pm and will compete against SV "Tälchen" & Friends.
The supporting program starts at 4:00 PM. Among other things, there will be a taster training session for children and young people up to 12 years old with former professional footballers Dariusz Wosz and Michael Dömgen, as well as a dance workshop for girls aged 5 to 14.

Every ticket, every donation, and every visit helps support Tobias Seltmann and his family. The former SV Krettnach player from Kommlingen suffers from paralysis due to a sports accident. He is wheelchair-bound, his speech is severely impaired, and many everyday things that others take for granted pose major challenges for him and his family.
The event is organized by the "Join In, Footballers Help" association and the SV "Tälchen" Krettnach sports club. The patron is the mayor of the town and municipality of Konz, Guido Wacht: "This charity event impressively demonstrates what community can achieve. I am delighted that so many dedicated individuals, clubs, and prominent athletes are supporting this worthy cause and warmly invite all citizens to be part of this special day."
