The city of Konz promotes "Clothing store & more"

The town of Konz is supporting the work of the Caritas-run clothing store, "Kleiderladen & mehr" (Clothing Shop & More). Mayor Guido Wacht personally delivered the official grant notification to the new location on the market square. The town council had approved €5,000 in funding for the year 2026.

During his visit, Mayor Guido Wacht praised the work of the facility: "The 'Clothing Shop & More' is a valuable part of our social community in Konz. The great commitment of the staff and the 16 volunteers deserves the highest recognition. As a city, it is very important to us to support this vital work."

The 'Clothing Shop & More' on the market square is open to everyone. People who have to manage on a limited financial budget receive a customer card that entitles them to particularly discounted prices.

The facility welcomes clothing donations. It is important that the clothing is in good condition and clean.
