DB: Rail renewals in Kanzem

As part of its nationwide program "Germany Needs a Strong Rail Network," Deutsche Bahn AG will be carrying out track renewal work on the Saar line between Konz and Wiltingen in Kanzem from June 2nd to June 8th, 2026. Therefore, increased noise and dust pollution may occur from Tuesday, June 2nd to Monday, June 8th, 2026.

The equipment used includes a track reconstruction train, a generator, a two-way excavator, a track tamping machine, work trains, various small machines, and an acoustic warning system to ensure the safety of workers in the track area.

DB InfraGO is making every effort to minimize disruptions caused by the construction work. Nevertheless, some disruptions and changes to the construction schedule cannot be completely ruled out. They apologize for any inconvenience.
