Konzer-Doktor-Bürgerstiftung supports Tafel

Both - the Konzer-Doktor-Bürgerstiftung and the Tafel in Konz - live from the voluntary commitment of the citizens and both have made it their task to support people in Konz.

At the end of June, the chairman of the community foundation, Jürgen Große, and his deputy Monika König visited the issuing office of the Tafel on Konstantinstraße. Pastoral officer Horst Steffen, who is responsible for managing the table, was delighted with the guests and especially with their announcement of a donation of 500 euros.

Actually, the net proceeds of the Konzer Doctor Ball 2023 should go to the organization. Since the event unfortunately had to be cancelled, the board of directors decided to support the work of the Tafel with 500 euros.

Horst Steffen thanked for the donation and showed the foundation representatives through the premises. He explained the processes and informed which group of people is currently dependent on the help of the Tafel. In addition to the very important donations in kind, the Tafel is also repeatedly dependent on monetary donations, which, among other things, can cover operating costs or top up insufficient donations in kind, according to Steffen.
