Candidates for the local mayoral election in waves have been determined

There are two candidates for the office of mayor in Wellen. The election committee confirmed the candidates at its meeting yesterday evening. Accordingly, Dietmar Haag from the CDU and the non-party Wolfgang Pleimling stand in the election.

Elections will take place in the local community of Wellen on March 5, 2023. Details (e.g. postal voting) will be announced later, the election notifications will be sent out from February 10, 2023. The previous incumbent, Hans Dostert, resigned at the end of the year for health and personal reasons.
