The Konz registry office is responsible for notarizing a birth if the child is/was born in the area of the Konz municipality (home birth).

However, if the child is to be born in a hospital, the registry office in whose area the hospital is located is responsible for the birth certificate.

With regard to the documents to be submitted, it is advisable to telephone the respective registry office.
