the City of Konz is a founding member the cross-border town and community partnership "GEPACO" (Municipal Partners – Partenaires Communeaux) – a regional city network with the aim of a lively exchange of information and experience at all levels. Community partners include Luxembourg city of Strassen, that Saarland Losheim am See , that Lorraine Montigny-les-Metz as Habay from Wallonia .
"When things go beyond national borders, mutual interest, cooperation and solidarity cannot be decreed "from above", but must grow "from below". Therefore, the cities and municipalities of the Greater Region are particularly in demand here," says Mayor Dr. Peace.
