The real estate cadastre, together with the land register, guarantees the security of ownership of the land and gives it marketability and creditworthiness. It consists of the real estate map, in which all parcels and buildings are shown to scale with their spatial boundaries, and descriptive information, which includes, for example, the parcel and parcel number, the official area size, the location designation and the actual use. In addition, the data of the owners and those entitled to leasehold buildings are also kept for information purposes.

What fees apply?
The applicable regulation is the state ordinance on fees for surveying and cadastral authorities and expert committees (Special Fee Schedule). Fees for printed extracts from the land register start at €28.00, depending on the format.
