LANDGANG 2025 - Exhibition in the town hall of Konz
With the exhibition LANDGANG 2025, the European Art Academy Trier and the city of Konz are opening a new space for artistic dialogue between the studio, the landscape and the public. From 31 October to 30 November 2025 Students and alumni of the academy will be showing a diverse selection of their current works in the town hall of Konz.
The title LANDGANG refers to a movement between places and perspectives—to landing, pausing, and engaging. Along the Moselle, from Trier to Konz, where the Moselle and Saar rivers converge, a symbolic path opens up that focuses on the artistic exploration of landscape, space, and contemporary culture. The project is intended as an invitation to take the "walk" from the protected space of the academy into the public sphere—into a terrain of exchange and encounter.
In the halls and halls of the town hall, works will be presented that exemplify the diversity of artistic expression at the European Art Academy. Painting, graphic arts, sculpture, installation, and photography will enter into a lively dialogue. The exhibition offers insights into the artistic development of young talents as well as into the paths taken by former students after their time at the academy.
The opening of the exhibition will take place on Friday, 31 October 2025, 6:00 p.m. in the meeting room of the town hall of Konz , Am Markt 11, 54329 Konz. Following the official opening, visitors are invited to a champagne reception and a personal discussion with the artists.
The exhibition is under the patronage of District Administrator Stefan Metzdorf and is supported by the Trier-Saarburg District and the Sparkasse Trier Cultural Foundation.
